Using Apple Pay is simple, and it works with Apple devices you use every day. Your card information is secure because it is not stored on your device or shared when you pay. Shopping, no matter pay in stores or within apps, has never been simpler, faster, safer and more private.

Set up Apple Pay

You can add ICBC UnionPay credit cards and Visa credit cards ^* to Apple Pay with few simple steps

iPhone:

1.Open “Wallet” app

2. Tap “+” icon on the top right hand corner

3. Use iPhone camera to scan credit card details or manually enter it

4. Agree the terms and conditions

5. Enter the verification code and finish the setup accordingly

Apple Watch:

1. Open “Apple Watch” app on iPhone

2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add a Credit Card”

3. Use iPhone camera to scan credit card details or manually enter it

4. Agree the terms and conditions

5. Enter the verification code and finish the setup accordingly

iPad:

1. Open settings

2. Tap “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add a Credit Card”

3. Use iPad camera to scan credit card details or manually enter it

Use Apple Pay

You may make payment through Apple Pay at any merchants which have contactless reader or Apple Pay icon and within apps by adding your ICBC UnionPay credit cards and Visa credit cards ^* to compatible Apple devices.

Paying in store

iPhone:

There is no need to wake up your iPhone or open the app. Just hold the iPhone near to the contactless reader with Touch ID, Face ID or password to verify the transaction. You will know your payment information was sent, along with a subtle vibration and beep.

Apple Watch:

On Apple Watch, double click the side button and hold the display of Apple Watch near to the contactless reader. A gentle tap and beep confirms that your payment information was sent.

Paying within apps

To pay within apps on iPhone and iPad, select Apple Pay as the payment method and use Touch ID , Face ID or password to verify the transaction.
